My lemon tree gives so much fruit I'm always making salted lemons, but I should try making a spicy oil pickle with them. As far as the classfull of birthday parties, guess we circumvented that by home schooling. The circle of friends was smaller.

You have me absolutely salivating here. PIckled limes - I loved the chapter in Little Women where Amy was caught eating them in class, and I have always wondered what they tasted like. I hope you post a recipe using them when they are ready!

I just bought 30 limes to use as a centerpiece for a dinner party this weekend. This might be a great way to used some of them once the party is over!

Wow Giff! Laughter and amazing food all in the same post - genius. As mentioned the pickled limes reminded me of preserved lemons which I've made and eaten. They are delicious and versatile. Thanks for another great post!

I have a a ridiculous amount of lemons and limes sitting in the fridge from catering last week, and looove the way those pickles look. I can just imagine how great they'll taste when they're fully pickled.
